KILL BOX MATE
Kill Box Mate is a checkmating pattern in which heavy pieces trap the enemy king inside a confined “box” of controlled squares. The king is surrounded by restricted escape squares, and a rook or queen delivers the final check along a rank or file. The mating net is formed by cutting off key files and ranks, leaving the king with no safe squares.
